Just thought I'd share this with you....

I'm amazed that no comments have been made on any of the three previous blog posts I've made.

I'm guessing that the badger apologist sect can't disagree, so haven't bothered to comment.

In the meantime; I thought I'd share this poster with you all.  Please pass it on.

    Its a scandelous waste of time and money blasting badgers matt. No chance of bovine Tb eradication mate. Regarding little chef you are bang on the money i agree on that. Daniel- from somerset

    Hi Daniel,

    Sorry, but I think it's a scandalous waste of money NOT to cull badgers.

    Let's not forget that the landowners in the proposed cull areas are paying for the work themselves; it's not a state funded cull. The policing costs will be met by the taxpayer (as they should be) and the animal rights protesters are deliberately pushing up the cost of policing.

    If the protected status of badgers was removed in those counties where their numbers are high (coincidentally the same counties that have high rates of TB), then there would be no cost to the taxpayer at all.

    I notice you use emotive terms like 'blasting', which is neither accurate, nor fair. The culling will be carried out by professionals and will be no different to the shooting of deer, foxes and other pests that goes on every day in the countryside.

    We have too many badgers in some parts of the UK and the sooner people wake up and realise the impact these large predators are having the better. We need a drastic population reduction in some areas to help other species which are under severe pressure and to help control TB which is now being spread into other animal species like our native red deer.

    And when i say majority im going by a huge number of public i've spoken with which includes a number of farmers. When i said blasting its a figure of speach matey. I've signed petition against culling i've gone through propagana, the for, the against you know the drill! And personally im against. All the best though matt and agree to disagree?.
